If Windows sees the controller, then AFAIK it should work in the game (I have the Xbox version).
I don't think the game has built-in profiles for any gamepads, so you likely need to go into the options, change the keys assigned to each action, and hit a gamepad button at the appropriate step. Alternately, the gamepad may have come with software to allow you to define keys/macros to button presses, etc, so you could have the gamepad send keystrokes to the game. Someone in the
pc 360 controller help topic mentioned using Pinnacle Game Profiler (shareware); maybe something like that could help (
Xpadder 5.3 is freeware, later versions are shareware).
