I need more hot keys for potions and spells.
And if there is a way to take one time all things in a chest ?

Tutorial-Changing F1-F12 hotkeys to different keys

A Take-All button would be spectacular! Less realistic though... not sure what the trade-offs of that would be, but it would make looting somewhat easier.

I never really used the hotkeys that much since I couldn't remember what was what. F5 was... meterostrike? Freeze? Bleh. It was faster to just click on two buttons.

I found this by accident. I don't know if it's common knowlege, and I don't remember reading about it in the manual. I found out that you can bid stuff to shift+F1 - F10. I have my potions set to F1 - F4 and skills set to shift+F1 - F4, and it's working out pretty well.

I'm with Rose on that one - I can't remember what more than, say five hotkeys are for, never mind having 20 to remember <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> I'm sure the more adroit of you can manage working the mouse/keyboard/directional keys *and* coffee plus remember all your bound (binded?) keys. I have my critical four - protect, attack1 and attack2, and heal. *shrug*

I did used to like the sidebar in EQ, though, which had the icons showing which spells you had hotkeyed....... that might be nice!

Oh, and is there a key that opens your skill menu rather than hitting the "browse skills" button?

would that be the "s" key?

Nope! I've hit that one dozens of times out of habit but ain't nuthin happnin there.

This might just be me, but I can't use the F10 key for hotkeys. It just doesn't do anything when I try...strange huh? Fortunately with the shift and ctrl modifiers I'm not going to run out of hotkeys for quite awhile...

I often have to switch between different spells and skills, using the mouse is very tedious imo (and hotkeys are a lot quicker obviously). After using them for awhile I have them memorized <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Wish RR had 1-9 hotkeys....
