Hey,

The patch 1.03 has come out for PC but I am wondering if it has come out for Xbox 360 yet.

Also, I am not sure if i even downloaded patch 1.01 or 1.02. how do you donwload them for Xbox 360?

Someone please help me out with this problem

Any patch I ever downloaded for the 360 was automatically installed, if I started the game connected to XBL.

There is a small patch for the US Xbox version (to fix a potential problem when overwriting saves), but nothing for other versions yet. The next patch is expected about mid October, with the release of DKS (and FoV on PC), so presumably all Xbox releases of D2:ED will get a patch then.

well i hope us xbox 360 users get the 1.03 patch soon. I like the idea of weps attacking multiple enemies in a cone infront of you. Would make life/mana drain better

The US Xbox release is already at version 1.03, and you should at least damage other opponents not directly targeted but within the arc of your swing (don't know if that applies to life and mana leech).

Ohhh I didnt know that patch 1.03 was already out. i should realy plug my xbox into the internet and check for updates. should the game update automatically or do i need to do somthing to get the patches?

The version on the US Xbox DVD is already 1.03, though you may want to get the patch if you overwrite your saves, or want to make sure you don't hit a problem with an auto-save. I tend to keep multiple recent saves going as I explore, so generally delete a save a couple instances back if I need to make room for a new one, anyway.

If you are online and signed in to Xbox live, when you start the game it should automatically detect the patch and ask if you wish to download and install it (takes less than a minute).

Well i pluged in my Xbox liveand started the game and nothing happened. it went to the Larian 'movie start-up clip' and then the game played? is there a way to tell if you have the patch already?

What version do you have, Raze said the US version is already 1.03.

I would imagine that if there is no patch to download, then you already have the most recent version.

Apparently Xbox users are not suppose to worry about stuff like that (or maybe I'm missing something). I don't see any way to check the game version or to verify if the patch was downloaded. If you are not getting a prompt, though, you more than likely already have the update.

You can check the size and date for the game in the System Settings, Memory, Hard Dive, Games, D2:ED section; depending on whether you have the game installed or not, and when that was done, that might confirm the patch was downloaded. In my case I installed the game right away, so the 5.5GB size doesn't determine anything, but the date is later (bought it at release), presumably matching when I downloaded the patch.

I remember installing the patch, since it took me awhile to get around to buying an adapter to reach across the room with an ethernet cable (the wireless adapter being way too expensive), and once I had that it took me 10 minutes to get online (most of which was trying to remember the hotmail address I set up to download the Windows 7 beta) and 30 seconds to get the patch.
