I am really upset, I just bought the game, and will be restarting my warrior after finding out how rediculous hard difficulty is.

The boss monsters like the conjurors and guardians kill in one hit, and I can't take them out with my bow because they rejenerate hp and they must at least have 700 hp. Impossible!

Yeah, the bosses are definitely difficult on hard mode. Sometimes you have to use cheese tactics like scorpions or hit n run (with a bow), and even then some of those guys with ranged attacks will kick your behind. If this is your first time through the game, play on normal. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Improve Strength and a little bit agility and be a heavy eater. Don't forget to carry your potions, they have other purposes besides looking cool when you shine light through them. I enjoy having the odds against me cause it forces me to try harder. Tring harder produces more fun for me and makes the game less boring and more challenging. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> If your playing a Survivor then your toast <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />, but if your playing a Wizard then easy happy days ahead <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />. The stragety above applies to warriors on hard mode <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />.

You could also try burning wall.When its set correctly,they will run into it and kill themselfs slowly.3 time burning wall should do it.Its really helpfull skill when there is a lot monsters around.Try it ,wont regred it and love it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Be calm ! Life is not easy to us ! Be calm ! Try to play with some orcs around Aleroth to increse your level and your skill (think over when choose the skill, I like very much the passive skills) and then all things are easier.

yep, just kill the orcs with meteorstrike mefore u go in to the catacomes.

Does anyone know if you get more experience points or better items from playing on hard mode?

Except for the giant spider i couldn't kill and the orcs who desire Slasher that have it coming to them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />, I've cleared the catacombs and part of Aleroth's outskirts. I haven't gone far enough away from Aleroth, so I don't run into those blasted Orc Drummmmmmers. In my play experience, it would seem that you get less powerful ID like ID5 mostly ID2s. Charms are very appear very often.

u get more charms? nice! I see Virgo that u r in playing hard level, and r level 10, very nice, a' very nice.

I still think, as a warrior, taking on those damn skeleton summoner things are nearly hopeless to impossible. I had to use a bow, and you can't run or it just heals up. and you have to deal with the summons too. I could probably kill him after running around for an hour or 2 shooting him with a bow, ugh!

I'm now playing on normal, and some of those monsters, even on the quest to restore Mardanius' sanity, are incredibly hard.

Make F1 the hot key for healing potions. There is no time delay for the healing potions.

If getting killed in one hit, (iv'e been there <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> ) get a couple of attacks in and quicksave with Control S and then keep reloading if you die. When the Skeleton is summoning, attack him. Quickload is Control L. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
