Why german release first and not english first? and wen its gonna be the release for FoV english?? does anyone know?

For D2:ED the German publisher was onboard much earlier than the English publishers (as in a couple of years), and AFAIK was much more supportive.

Last official word on the English release was that, though perhaps a little on the optimistic side, they were aiming for mid October.

Actually, the FoV faq was just recently updated and now says the expected release date is November

No way it could have been October...
November/December is when I'll expect it.

November/December would be better. October is packed in North America. There's really no RPG stuff in November/December.

Man, I'm dying to play this. Divinity II is still my favorite RPG this generation. I can't wait to see what Larian has done with Ego Draconis, and I also can't wait to experience Flames of Vengeance.

It does worry me that there's still no publisher announcement. It sucks CDV is a goner. Just stay far away from SouthPeak, Larian. Bad business.

Many times was told that ED will out in november/december of 2009 as well. But in the end...

@DivineGamer, the NA version wasn't actually released until January. So no, it didn't make the Nov/Dec time frame. I won't believe any date they say until I actually see it on the shelf. Once they change the release date once, it generally causes a domino effect. Not in all cases, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen.

The official release date was Jan 5th IIRC, but some Gametop and Best Buys in the US started selling them a week or a week and a half early.

At this point, id just settle for a listing at bestbuy.com for DKS...least then i have a better idea when and if its coming to an area near me

Raze is correct. I got Ego Draconis in late December at Gamestop.
