Hello everybody,

We're currently testing the localized versions of Divinity II - Flames of Vengeance to check that if you load an old save game from Divinity II - Ego Draconis, you can seamlessly continue to play all the way up to the end of Divinity II - Flames of Vengeance.

It would help us tremendously if you could send us a couple (not all, 2 or so) of your Divinity II - Ego Draconis save files, preferably towards the very end of the game. The more we get, the more we can be sure it'll work in all cases.

Your save games can be found at the following location:

In Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\_YourWindowsUser_\Local Settings\Application Data\Divinity 2\Savegames

In Windows Vista/7
C:\users\_YourWindowsUser_\AppData\Local\Divinity 2\SaveGames


Localized versions we are testing at the moment are: Spanish, Italian, English and French.

Please mention the patch number and the language version of your save game.

Their mailbox is full for that account; apparently they got a faster response than expected. Wait for Lynn to check that email and clear out the save games that have already been sent and/or increase the capacity of that account.

Or it was nearly full to begin with.
As at the moment its sitting at 27 views, so I dont think they a major influx of Save Games.

I have to finish Ego Draconis, first - which feels like it might NEVER happen, given how crazy the game's hard-coded Leveled areas are and the lack of letting the player know what Level they should be at to enter an area and/or take on a quest...

It feels like I just walk in a different direction one or two steps, I find an area either WAY above or below my level - especially in the Fjords. Seriously, WTH? :oP

Anyways, IF and WHEN I get this game done, I'll send you some of my saves...

Lynn i want to know if you want my english saved games i live in the USA and i was wondering if you want them by any chance i think i reached the max level in my PC version by i defenitly know i reached it on my xbox, also i want to know if my xbox version of save games for D2ED will work with the DKS.

I don't recall if Larian specifically stated Xbox D2:ED saves would not be compatible with DKS, but discussing FoV vs DKS on the PC, save game compatibility was the limiter on what changes in DKS would be included with the patch and/or FoV for the D2:ED section of the game. If they couldn't keep compatibility on the PC, it is highly unlikely they could on Xbox.

I finished Ego Draconis (English)! Expect some of my saves, soon enuff, Larian...

Even more, chances that saves of X-box360' version are incompatible is higher then fir the PC one :P

I want to ask about the saves I've finished Ego Draconis in English version and I have bought the German Flames of Vengence. Now I can't use my game saves cause it says their are incompatilbe with the german language version is there a possibility to convert them somehow please help

I don't think so. Language versions use to be uncompatible, I guess you're better either resell your German version and wait for the English one, either buy the whole saga (DKS or D2:EG+FOV) in German.
