I've read many posts on this subject but I'm confused. I'll set the stage.
When the fight starts after talking with Raze, am I to kill ALL THE MINIONS first? Then go after Raze? Or do I try and kill him right away?
I know there are levers to be pulled to stop Raze from healing but while in the initial fight with his minions, I have never seen any indication of any levers. Do they show initially or only after all his minions have been killed?
I'm level 24. Is that too low to take all this on at this time?? I get swarmed by his minions even with my creatures doing their job.
Sure would appreciate someone clarifying the right way to approach this battle.

The levers should be right beside the healing chambers, and are there from the start.
Leaving the minions around helps slow down General Raze when heading for a healing chamber (as would a summon and/or your creature), but other than that it doesn't matter which you go after first. If you stand near one healing chamber that is the one he will attempt to use first; block his access and he will try to make it to the other one.
Level 24 is low for that area; I think he is about level 29, so would be difficult to take down even without the minions and healing chambers. Have you finished off Stone's Flying fortress? If you've cleared a few caves near the start of the fjords, and the path through to High Hall and the harbour, etc, Stone's fortress (north east end of the long island in the middle of the channel to the harbour) would be the next logical place to go; I entered at about level 24/25 and made it to level 29 just before the end.

OK Raze and thanks for a quick and concise answer. You have cleared up a few things for me.
I'm sure now, that I'm just not at a high enough level so I'll take your advise and go elsewhere to get to about level 29 if I can. Then come back and finish this one area up (I hope).
The only thing that is still bothering me is that I have made a point of looking for the levers that can be pulled to stop General Raze from healing and I think I do see them near those corner booths, but when I try and get some indication of doing an action with them, there is nothing showing. If I mouse over them, there is no "activate" signal.
So my last question to you would be .... should I see some indication to activate or pull on the lever if I'm at the correct location??
Thanks again Raze.

I think you should get an indication that you can select the levers if you are close enough and have the crosshairs pointed at them. There may be a problem with these levers in the US Xbox version, but AFAIK they should be fine in the PC version. Switches in Keara and Raze's Fortress

Hey Razwe:
Thought I'd just let you know I took your advise and leveled up a bit, to level 28. It took 4 attempts but finally got him. Never did try those switches (levers), just killed him outright. I got the dropped items left by him and all others in the area.
Now before I leave this area, is there anything else I should do while I'm inside here?? I've got all the "Armour Sets" and the (3) generators on the outside area. Nothing else I should do is there??
Thanks a million again Raze, very much appreciated.

If you got the complete Hunter's set (and Ulthring's Leggings if you mindread Raze) and took out the 3 generators, then it sounds like you have completed everything. I flew around each flying fortress after defeating the boss to check for any stray chests or opponents I may have missed; unfortunately you can not check for ground opponents without switching to human form (which I did if I wasn't sure I recognized a particular location), but you can see if there are crates or barrels around from the air (break them as you explore and unbroken ones mark new territory), as well as whether chests are open or closed.
There is an achievement when you have taken out all of the flying fortresses, but nothing to confirm when you have cleared each individual one.
