Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks How does ZixZax fit into Div 2 Ego Draconis??

I found ZixZax running around a huge statue at the front of maxos temple, I think it is. When i go to that huge statue, there appears to be 3 areas that require some item to be placed into them, I am sure it is to activate some ind of portal or something else.

I use to play Divine Divinity, but haven't for at least 1 year. in that game, ZixZax stole my teleporter stones, but in Div 2 Ego draconis, there are Shrines to teleport you around and as far as I know there are no teleporter stones.

So now I wonder, why is he in this version of the game? He seems to love running around this huge statue, and I know he has sometyhing to do with 4 scrolls, or maybe 5 scrolls, but I have no confirmation of this, as even though i currently own 2 scrolls/parchments, and i have tried to read them both, and gone back to the little IMP, but he has no dialog to talk about anything at the moment.

1.) Does anyone know what piece of info this statue has got to do with the game and also, which quests I should look out for to activate it, and what quests to get the items that go into the 3 area's that surround the statue?

2.) Does anyone know exactly what ZixZax is at this location for, and what part in the game does he play?

3.) Does anyone know who i need to speak to or how I am able to activate the quest that has to do with these 4 or scroll's/parchments I have been finding.

I know I may be asking a lot of questions here, but if anyone is able to simplify all these questions I have into one simplised answer, or a couple of answers, I would be eternally grateful.

There are 4 Parchment Scrolls. Broken Valley map (scrolls marked with a P )

ZixZax is involved in a couple quests (translating the 4 parchments, once you have them all, and something else), and can be mindread.


In Divine Divinity Zixzax 'borrows' the teleporter stones when you enter the castle, but you can get them back after you rescue Zandalor and have him teleport you to the council hall. He makes an appearance in Beyond Divinity, as well, that time to give you a teleporter stone.

Anyone know the location of the three hidden stones. I had no idea the statue even had a function! I know the parchments are mostly found in chests near Bellegar's shrines. Don't miss the one chest to the side of the bandit camp entrance. That one took me forever to find!

What exactly do these stones do? I found two easily, have to go back and get the one behind the shrine.

Placing the 3 stones in the 3 dragon statues in the centre of the monument where ZixZax is wandering around will spawn a chest with random loot.
