I'm on the northern tip of the island and I've cleared out all that are there. My problem is that I cannot figure out how to proceed south so I can work towards the Fortress. I can't see any path or jump-off spot that will let me proceed south.

Can someone please tell me how I can advance south from this location?? Can't go Dragon as it is still in Anti-Dragon state, but OK as human.

It sounds like you missed some of the generators on the northern group of islands.

Here is a map, or from the walkthrough;

-There are five generators on the very highest ring of outer islands (one on
each island except the northern one).

-Six generators sit on the large outer islands (one on each).

-The middle island has three generators near its center.

larger outer islands (one to the north, one to the southwest, and one to the
southeast).

Thanks Raze. Good to hear from you again.

I thought the same thing, that may;be I missed a Generator SO i did fly over and over the entire area and couldn't see one that I may have missed. But I think you are right and I'll dig deeper.

By the way Raze, I noticed that there is some conflict in information. The map shows there are 18 Generators, not 17. Maybe that extra one is in the middle group where the map shows (4) Generators, not (3). But I could be mistaken.

Well, I found the little sucker. Really well hidden Raze. On a small island beneath the Southwest island where it connects to the main island in the center.

Have they changed this by some chance? My game had no anti-dragon zones whatsoever in Kali's ... in fact, there was just one in any of the flying fortresses, and that was Stone's.

The flying fortresses were redesigned in DKS, getting rid of the generators and most of the anti-dragon zones.

That sounds like a definite improvement to me: the forts for me were one of the less enjoyable parts of the game, especially Kali's (I think - the "green one", anyway) with it's eleventy billion generators, not all of which I could find last time through in spite of spending hours searching for them. I think I'd approach them with a lot less trepidation if I knew I could be in and out, just getting on with stuff that needs doing: although I normally like to spend my time doing things, disabling the generators was something I found quite tedious.

Probably the closest I came to something similar elsewhere was trying to close all sixty gates in Oblivion (I think I found 57 in the end). I don't recommend it!
