What is the prediction about? Is she referring to the white chicken? If so, I've been following it around and it doesn't do anything.

You need a different white creature... walk downstream along the bank of the river from the fortune teller, and you should get a cutscene before you hit the rocks with the iron ore deposit.

a funny thing happened to me the other day. with other characters I've had, I talked to the fortune teller......sending me on a couple of "missions" as a prediction. this time around, I found the white rabbit, only to go back to her, as watch her die as I approached! is this supposed to happen, or does this happen when you reach the last prediction.....to become a dragon?


if you kill the white chicken, you will, in fact, kill the guy who is looking for the chicken that he has been soul bound to.

I'd assumed it was just a reference to Mr Carroll's books, if anything...


Unless DKS changed something, it sounds rather amiss: she was alive and well when I last saw her. Strange.

Although now that I think about it, I forget whether or not I asked her for her final prediction, so I'm not really being a great deal of help here.

After the rabbit you should get another prediction (knight on a bridge), then another (about flying). Return to her (before getting the battle tower, of course) after that and something else happens. She isn't suppose to die.

Do all the visions before the flying part, then do all of bellegar's summon battles, then head to the Maxos temple and Bellegar will appear and throw you up into the air. When you come down go to the fortune teller and she will get scared and run away. You can't do this quest after getting dragon form, so the last prediction isn't about becoming a dragon.

That's interesting: I don't think I went back to her after Bellegar's "amusing" intervention. I'll have to see if I still have a handy save and go back and visit!

Oh yeah, so she does! She didn't die, though, she just buggered off.

interesting , i did not get thrown up in the air bc i did the bellegars battles before i visited her - always wondered how she expects me to become a dragon & return to her after damian already attacks the valley .

I do have a question,

that hatch near the fortune teller that is adressed as Millers but once you interact it says its Ba-something (i rly cannot remember the name right now but its not ba'al .. bahn ? ) and it requires a password ; i never found out the password so if someone could please tell me who has it ?.

Edit: as for Bellegar, I think his appearance in Sosostra's fortune telling is independent of his shenanigans elsewhere...

I thought its that guy too but i mindreaded him already and got the key to his cellar with the Alchemist tree .i did try to mindread him again after i found that hatch but i couldnt , also there was no new option to ask him about the hatch ... so i guessed that cant be him .



bellegar ... yeah but already defeated all his broken valley summon challanges, did the maxos temple -- but only to the point where i got the acces to sentinel tower and i still couldnt scare the sosostra away .

Did you mindread the tree?


Have you checked to see if she has any more prophecies for you? I only ask as I'd failed to do that myself; if she really has nothing more to say, I guess it's just "one of those things"...

*blush* its the tree isnt it >.< id swear i mindreaded it, obviously in one of the previous games



Her last prophecy was about me flying . before that i was chasing the wabbit and fighting the guy on the bridge. oh well, id scared her off anyway :P but at least i know what (probably) made it not work for me

I had a funny thing happen to me. I did the first prediction.....I went back to her and she just dropped dead! I thought someone took her out {behind me}. I looked around for a while, but didn't find anyone.

Where is the guy that I am supposed to duel on a bridge?

I am Really new to this game (i actually did not know about it until i downloaded the demo on xbox Which i play it on)

To put the story short I am at the beginning of the game, almost half way IDK lol but i am lvl 14 and I have a problem with Sosostra's first prediction. I cant seam to finish it?

I walked down stream it lead me to a bunch of stronger goblins, I defeated them then i found casper the chicken guy although i find no treasure and when i go back to her she says "I have not fufilled the prophecy ...ok well how do i finish it?

The only thing that really bothers me is the KILLER RABBIT! I have at least found the trigger, if i kill 2 rabbits in a certain period of time it appears and kills me before i can even defend myself. How do I stop this from happening as its not like i get my kicks killing rabbits but it happens accidentally in certain areas. (it happened to me when i did the bandit quest as they have many animals running around i must have killed some on accident IDK but DUH DUH DUH the cut seen came and i saw the killer rabbit and knew it was done it is bugging me and if anyone has any idea Please inform me? Am i supposed to be able to kill it? and i have no idea about what to do about finding a "Treasure" nor have i found the white chicken either.

Are you playing D2:ED or DKS? there may be some slight differs in them. Although the KB can be killed.
It takes a total of 20 rabbit kills to trigger. try jumping on a rock or ledge and take him out w/ ranged weapon or magic. Jumping in the water also keeps him at bay.

For the first fortune, walk down the riverbank; you don't have to cross any water and should see the white rabbit in a cutscene fairly soon (see my first reply above).

The white chicken is in Bellegar's shrine closest to where Casper is. At least in DKS it is only there after you talk to Casper.

I killed the rabbit and idk what to do about Casper nor can I get another prediction from sososta (at this point I have killed the rabbit but not gone back to her) how do you fulfill her prophecy? And what do I do about Casper just leave the chicken be for now? Anything else I should know?
