Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Stamina Drain

This is a very strange problem I've encountered more than once. What happens is that my stamina randomly drains even though I am not moving at all. The first time I figured it was from encumberment and it was cured after I reduced some of my burden. This second time, nothing I do gets rid of it, even stripping down to no equipment and removing everything from inventory. When I drink a stamina potion, all of it withers away and stays at zero. WHAT THE HELL!!! Anyone have any ideas?

Have you been in the Cursed Abbey? Picked up the Strange Halberd of Rocks? It drains stamina. Drop or sell it quickly.

This happened to me too. Turned out I'd picked up a cursed weapon in the Abbey <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

It may show up as unidentified if you don't have the identity skill. Once you drop the item from your inventory you'll be ok.

Well, whaddaya know, that was the answer. That would have taken me a while to figure out. I thought it was my computer screwing up. Thanks a lot.

you picked up the cursed halbred in the abby, if you have a teleport pyramid at the mechant square, teleport there, or RUN to a merchant and sell it, drop it to the ground and wait until your stamina goes up if you have to run, i believe that it is worth around 4400gp. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
