GoGammer is based in the US; I got a few games from them years ago, and the next time I tried to order they had stopped shipping outside the US.
Thats good news for us in the states. Although I definitely do wonder why a US based company would carry a game that was released in foreign markets when they, themselves, do not ship international. Do they have retail stores in Canada? It just seems like that situation would violate some kind of corporate sales agreement.
If nobody in Canada starts stocking DKS that ships to the US, maybe I'll see if I can get a bulk discount... but likely someone on eBay or something who already had contacts with distributors would beat me to it.
Im not too sure about that. Ebay is a hard market for games (and everything else). Ive sold around a thousand items on ebay over the last few years and the one thing ive learned (and try to pass on) is that when you list something on ebay, you can expect to (on average) get no more than 80% the in-store price. The only way ebay really works for new products is if the seller has buyers already lined up...such as would probably be the case if someone were to list some Canadian xbox 360 DNS and post that on this forum to attract US buyers.
If it comes down to it, and no Canadian retailer that carries the game decides to allow international shipping, a lot of us may have to turn to ebay...or wait for an uncertain US release date. I guess once the Canadian retail xbox 360 version hits shelves, we'll find out rather quick what the options are. I want to say that if that is the case and Ebay is the only option to procure a US compatible version of DNS, then I would be more than happy to pay sticker price + shipping + a small price markup for your troubles.
We shall cross that bridge when we come to it, as they say; but its nice to know that youre open to helping out your southern neighbors.
