Just bought and downloaded this yesterday from your site shop, a hassle free download and install, big thumbs up for you there.
On starting to play I was a bit surprised an dismayed by the 30 fps cap (was acutely aware of it as I play on a 60" screen and graphical differences are immediately apparent), but I see you are already working on it so another thunbs up there.
Apart from the 30 cap I have no issues with running the game, using extreme settings without problems.
The game seems as stable as a rock, not one lock up or freeze or crash, unlike just about every other game I've bought lately.
I find the ingame camera can zoom out a bit too much for my liking when I'm trying to look down at something but thats a minor foible.
The gameworld is place where I like to be and graphics are pleasing though I really would appreciate being able to get anti aliasing to work ingame.
I love the voice acting, finally a game that doesn't sound like the voice actors are drugged and would really rather be somewhere else, another thumbs up.
So all in all I can sit back and for once think "thats thirty quid well spent", thankyou Larion.
If my advice counts for anything I would say getting the 30 fps cap lifted and anti aliasing into the game should be high on the agenda, I'm not complaining but I would think that those two points are whats going to be jumped on the most by customers and reviewers alike.
I've posted a "first impressions" mini review on another large gaming site and on a couple of high end audio forums I visit and folks are showing interest, and if people think us gamer PC types are geeky, jeez you wanna see the high end audio boys, I know as I'm one of them.
Thanks again to all at Larian, I'm now off back into the game and will probably wake up still in my chair sometime tomorrow, as I did this morning.

Sorry Paris, only tips to ease coping with the addiction.
Ere we go:
Make a big flask of your fave coffee and place it beside your chair along with your fave cup.
A nice stack of sandwiches also placed within arms reach, choose your sandwiche filling carefully as it should be something thats easily removed from your keyboard when the inevitable happens.
A huge huge bar of chocolate or two for in between sandwiches snacks.
If you smoke, you know the drill.
Before commencing gameplay, head for the loo and get rid of all that you can.
Are you sitting comfortably, right, slurp of coffee, sandwhich in your chops and chocolate at the ready, you may begin.
See you in about 16 hours.

Obviously Knight Flyer, you are a DKS pusher and have no intention of curing my addiction, but I do love your gaming menu.

I have a lot of people interessed in the game also, problem is piracy that some people think "hummm, i dont know this guys, did they ever made anything?" and because they dont wanna risk too much, they download the game illegaly. Quite honestly, its ridiculous people dont want to spend 40 euros on a 60 hour entertainment game, but they have no problems spending the same money in a couple of hours in a club. Anyways, trying my best posting on forums about the game, as i realy think it's a bargain and worth all the hours.

A valid point KNightPT
When you think about it, this game cost me 30 quid, you can go out and buy a couple of Bluerays that would cost you the same amount but at the most you'd only get one & half to two hours out of each of them where as with a decent rpg you'll hit the 100 hour mark easily.
When I think of the number of hours I've put into Oblivion, its in the thousands and then some bracket, I even bought it twice as I have 4 PC's in different rooms of the house and was tired of swapping the discs from rig to rig. I know I could have used a no cd crack but I spotted the GOTY for 12 quid in a sale.
I've never pirated a game in my life and the only copied music CD's I have are the ones I've made myself to play in the car, I believe in supporting the people that supply me with something that gives me a great deal of enjoyment, but I do have a theory. I don't think that its the saving of a few quid that attracts most pirates to what they do, but rather the fact they can sit there and think "ha, got one over on those guys" which to be honest, if true, is quite sad.
The thing that narks me is that as the legitimate purchasers of the sofware, we have to put up with that golden invention and wonderful PITA, yup you guessed it "DRM", which is about as effective as a chocolate saucepan. It doesn't stop em, Fallout NV was apparently cracked and up for download just hours after release.
The only way is to catch the ones uploading the cracks and dishing out a huge fine or jail time, theft is theft.
Here endeth the sermon of the Reverand Knight Flyer, pirates walk the plank and those of you who have dutifully handed over your dosh, stop fiddling with your halo's, they look fine.
Amen.

Yeah, the problem with the "try before you buy" mentality is that humans by nature are self-deceptive. People will play a game for 50 hours and then say it wasn't good enough to buy for some arbitrary reason like "consolized menus" or something. Plus, ED had a demo, there's no reason to pirate the game to see if you like it or how it runs.
