Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Mobility Radeon 7500 Issues

Need some simple help. I have tried the configuration tool to set my screen resolution to 800x600 but the screen goes black with motion from the mouse but never comes back. I have to use Task Manager to end the task. Am I just out of luck with running in higer resolution?

Here is my PC details:

Dell 5100
32mb Mobility Radeon 7500 Video Card
512MB Memory
Windows XP Pro

Sorry forgot the CPU - P4 2.53 GHz

Skip the "Test". The test will not work correctly with Radeon Cards.
But the Game will work fine with it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

i find "skipping the test" allows
for a much better, smoother, game on any setting... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Sorry to bring this up again. Is thier anyway to increase the resolution? Would love to play the game in 800x600 or 1024x768.

In the configuration program, select the resolution you want to play in, then check the Skip Test box, click on the Test button (it will not run), then the Apply & Close button.
