Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General The Dreaded Corrupt!

So, after dealing with DD not working at all yesterday. I finally got it running today. I was so happy until I died and, couldn't reload my old file because it was corrupt. Therefore I restarted again. Hours later boom I die and, can't reload the stupid file again. So, I try a third time. Yet, the same thing happens to me. CORRUPT FILE BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Yes, they sure are. I usually check for updates weekly.

You have applied the latest Patch, did you ?

And - do you have enough disk space left ? About 200 MB or so ?

I got anything and everything. It really doesn't matter. I learned my lession. Instead of just having 1 save. I have about 5. The supreme wizard is back! To get a jumpstart on my new game. I ran outside aleroth and, nuked orcs to death till level 7. Now I am sweeping through the tomb. Nuking everything in sight.
Let this be a tip to all those who are new to DD. Do not, I repeat DO NOT only save to one file. Use multiple save name's just incase corrupt files make way to your computer.
