Heyla folks, was interested in maybe trying this game out, though I was trying to find out if you're only allowed to play as a male. Seems alot of European developed RPG's only have a set male protagonist. Is that also the case with DKS? Thanks for any replies.

And for further good news, in the flames of vengeance part of the game you are referred to as "my Lady" and by your servants as "Mistress". Unfortunately you don't get this in the first part of the game. But it was good that the developers seen the error of their ways. wink

D2ED + More D2ED + A happy ending = A winner

Great to hear Paris. Its nice that some developers are realizing that, yes there are actual woman gamers out there that actually want to play as a female in RPG's. Thanks for the info and the reply! delight

Bad news: the gameplay does not changes even a bit no matter what is your gender.

This is correct. There is dialogue when talking with some female characters that may be considered a bit "flirty". It's the same whether or not you're playing male or female.

There is one quest in Flames of Vengeance that requires you to be female to complete it, but you can use an illusionist for that if you're a male character.

It's better to play as a woman because the male running animation in the game looks pretty silly.
