There appears to be a small locked box in Needleman's storage wich can't be lockpicked. After skimming trough the room and the corridor leading towards it, I haven't been able to find the key. Does anyone roughly know it's whereabouts?
anyone notice that he not wearing his hat anymore, wouldn't be funny if we had find his hat and he gives us the key for returning it to him...wishful thinking.
Looked inside his storage, nothing. Checked by Needleman atop the tower, nothing. Even looked on the other side of the portal outside his storage, nothing.
I gave up on that too. Possibly an oversight by the developer, like the 2 "mind reads" that lead to 2 coin purses; they're both empty, all the time! Good thing I quick save before EVERY mind read

So so close. Lol.
You can mindread him and the key will spawn. I'll need to check my saved game, but if I remember correctly in DKS the key is perched up on a stone by the side of the tower in the same "room" that you found Needleman in.

I believe that is solved in the patch. I haven't tried it myself yet due to the showstopper bugs, but apparently its supposed to fix the empty bags of loot you can mindread for.

So far I see the EMPTY coin purses are still empty (playing DKS on Xbox) after mindreading ... unfortunately ...
On 7th of february 2015 : I start a new adventure in the Divinity world of Original Sin, it's a Fantastic Freaking Fabulous Funny ... it's my All Time Favorite One !
