Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Technical problems Framerate after load screen

My framerate is smooth until after I get back into the world from a load screen. After it, my frame drops to about 2fps. However, when i change almost ANY graphic setting, and save it- my framerate goes up again. I dont want to have to keep doing that though. any suggestions?

9800gtx+
AMD phenom quadcore 3.2ghz
4g ram

I have had the same problem. My quick workaround: alt-tab to the desktop and then immediately alt-tab back into the game. Has the same effect as changing a graphics setting -- game is working fine again. Now it is almost instinctual for me to do this after every area transition (esp. to outdoor areas).
