I wonder if they played the entire game, or just the first several hours of it?

The first entry definitely has a solid beginning, and a decent middle, but the last several hours really sours the game. After having completed it, I would give it a 7/10 and say that it is a game that has a ton of potential to become something more, but after completing the first entry, didn't have enough going for it to make me want to go on to completing the expansion.

The best thing about this game is the soundtrack. If it weren't for that, I would have put it down for being a ill-designed hack and slash shortly after leaving Broken Valley.

EDIT: Well that's harsh. Really I'm just disappointed in how the game went after I got the Dragon Form. I'm planning on writing a proper review of the game when I completely finish it (that means finishing FoV)... because really, there is a lot to love here, and there are certain things I would love to see improve in the next Divinity game.
