I presume there is no editor or custom content, as I can't find any, just wanted to check? Would be nice if someone made a save game editor or something.

They said they would look into making the tools usable by the comunity on Monday (thus the time for that has passed), and have not mentioned anything since then.

Meh. I'd rather they focus on squashing bugs and fixing errors so that as more people purchase and play the game, they can have a proper experience.

mods bring something else to the table. while its good for devs to fix and tweak things, no one can truly tailor a game to fit the many individual gamer preferences there are. thats wad modding allows. vanilla OB was unplayable for me but mods eventually made it a standard by which i measure rpgs of its kind

This is a kinda short sighted reply. I don't think you understand. Not only does a toolset that allows custom content allow the community to make extra things for the game, it allows them to fix the game itself.

From what I've seen with other games with toolsets, the community often does a better job at fixing the game than the devs. They would certainly add to it at the least and make it even more playable than it is.

all too true. OB and FO3 for example still had fixes long before and after Beth released the official ones.

would be awsome if we could mod this game. imagine all the extra content and goodies we could find to do not to mention fix every last bug and even help some1 who made a new map for it on polishing it. This game shine from start o finish so id love to keep playing it all the way perminatly (would love dev's to add a feature to allow us to continue playing after we beat it) just my opinion seemed to work wonders with other games.
