Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks curing maradaneus

I've been down to the catacombs, and searched everywhere, released the undead servant (from the statue), did the 3orbs/portal thing, but can't free Maradaneus. What should I be doing, or is curing him something that happens much later in the game?

The 3 orbs room should have produced an energy arc - you can use it to enter the locked room = entrance to deeper levels.

yes, welcome to the forum! Yes, there are several screenshots (all r spoilers), but u need to go to level 5 and fight a lot of monsters to heal Mardaneus.

u start on level 1
then u go down to level 2, u egt slasher
u then open up the tombs, go down
then u run around on the teleporter level
then, finally; on level !5! u kill the guy and save mardaneus. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Well I counted level 1 as cave dungeon level 1 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shhh.gif" alt="" />. I guess everyone is counting it like yours which is good to know. I know what people are talking about when they talk about floor levels now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

o, yeah, I guess ur partly right. I just was counting that as part of the catacomes becuase, its suppoused be it, and what u call level 1 of the catacomes are what the necromance knows about. his note says, 'I'm trapped down here, unless...' I just count the whole thing as it.
