Dear Lynn
Yes I checked tutorial but I can not get in the house to start with! I have found key under rock to the south and my lock pick skill is 2. My level is 35.

The door is on the north side of the house. Get close and use the alt key to show the door.

As I remember lockpick is useless on Elrath's house doors. Use your key. If can't open it with key you haven't triggered the quest.

Thanx Egin,
As I have the key(under rock S.E of E's house?) I must not have triggered the quest yet!

Not true. IIRC lvl 2 or 3 should do it. Atleast that how i got in the firsttime through the game. Dont remember my lockpick lvl at time though.

Are you sure Joliekiller? I have heard it many times, and I think I have tried it myself, that lockpick is useless on the doors to his house.
I even remember some posts about this, but it will be headache to start looking for them.

Yes i'm sure. Use alt to highlight the door and use lockpick. It works, but i'm not sure of the lvl.

Ok, then. I will not argue on this. Sorry, for giving out incorrect information.

Actually, you are both right. Lockpick is useless after you leave with evidence against the doctor; before that, it should work (I also thought it required level 2 or 3 ).

I would have just said that, so a good thing Raze did first.
