I don't know if there's been a post with the same problem, if so, sorry that i started a new post.
I just started to play divine again, and now and then the game chrashes.
It just returns to my desktop with out giving me a error message.
I installed the last patch, but he still chrashes.
Sometime's when i just wander around somethimes i save or re-load a save game.
Anyone who can help me? Please? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

I have been frozen in my seat on many occasions not wanting to move my mouse for fear of what might happen next, I’ve heard sounds and voices so clear that I was becoming unsure if they were actually coming from the speakers

Hi, and welcome in the forum <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Do you have any other progr. running in the background? Like ICQ, antivirus, music progr.,... If yes, I'll suggest you to shut it down.
And can you check if your color depth is set to 16 bit?

Maybe also have a look at our Technical FAQ Support
If this doesn't help you, let us know.

Even after trying out the following (see below), it still crashes?...

****

5) Problem: Random crashes
We have had a number of reports on random crashes. Most of these could be solved by doing one of the following things :

* Make sure all your drivers are up to date and you have the latest service packs and windows updates installed.
* Turn down the windows hardware acceleration of the sound driver down by one notch.
* Make sure the color depth of your desktop is set to 16 bits.
* Make sure the integrity of your files is not compromised by executing a scandisk.
* Make sure you have no other applications running in the background
* Make sure you have enough free hard disc space
* Make sure you have full read/write access to the folder where you installed Divine Divinity

---> You also might want to check if there is a file called error.txt in the run folder of the folder where Divine Divinity was installed, as it might contain helpful hints.
