Hi guys,
I've heard alot of good things about the game, but the limited activations on STEAM is preventing me from buying it. I refuse to buy anything with limited activations on STEAM (I already had a lockout from steam's offline mode, when my FIOS went out for a day, thanks to dual booting, without backing up the client.blob file-.-), until the limit is removed.

I really want to buy this game, but why does the STEAM version have DRM/activations on top of Steam? I want to get it through steam, but I don't buy games with limited securom activations...will you guys remove the activations from the STEAM Version?

I think steam's own DRM is enough...


As soon as the activation limit is removed, you guys will have another sale.

Steam version has secuROM activation.

If you don't want it, you always can buy a retail copy and use no-dvd. In the end - you bough it and you have all rights to do so.

It is irritating. I wonder why Larian whom seem so good to me in my limited time with the game at dealing with the community side of things would let this be included.

Guess they had no choice? Oh well i got it on steam anyway... im sure i could still get it activated contacting support even if i hit the limit

They have stated several times on the forums that SecuROM will be removed later on, just like their other games.
