Hi,
I recently experienced some problems with my computer because of which I had to reinstall Vista. I managed to keep my savegames from before though thanks to my loyal windows XP partition.
However, after I reinstalled the game and placed the savegames back in the Divinity II folder, the game crashed the moment that save was loaded. In this save I was in the city of Aleroth after having revived Ygerna.
I then used an earlier save, which put me before the Ygerna cutscenes where I still had to fight the Divine, and this worked fine up until the point I'm dropped into Aleroth and from the moment I'm about to assume control over the character again, the game immediately shuts down.
All earlier saves work but I cannot continue into Aleroth.
I did have the hotfix installed before (after experiencing the invisible black ring) but that has been replaced by the patch now so I installed that and that only added to the problem. I have a lot of see-through surfaces now (I just reported this on the patch-thread also) and it still crashes.
I tried replacing the whole "Divinity II"-folder and I tried just adding 1 savegame. The effect is always the same though.
Kinda running out of ideas..
Any suggestions?
