I think it'd be rather confusing - here's just one as a taster

‘Amidst a world of fiery wonder, creatures of legend drift gracefully along torrid clouds and flaming seas. It is a land of tranquil inferno. It is your home, you: a Phoenix.
But suddenly, in a realm of blazing fire, there creeps darkness, and a sinister voice accompanies an irresistible pull that drags you into the black void. Suddenly your surroundings are different: all is dim, but in uproar. You hear shouting, screaming and the last gasps of dying things among little village houses beneath the pale light of a white disc in the sky. Night nor moon are anything you have ever seen before.
'Spout fire and wreak havoc! Kill all those you find!' The voice is back and finally you see who it belongs to: perched like a bird of prey on a protruding mountain rock, a necromancer stares at you with commanding eyes. 'I have summoned you to Rivellon so you may destroy your enemies! They would harm your world! Slaughter them! Burn it all down!'
Confused and panicked you do his bidding and soon the full power of the Phoenix rains down like the very hails of hell upon the hapless hamlet. Incinerated bodies lie everywhere: the battle is almost over before it began, and yet, as out of nowhere, a brave soul down on the ground finds the strength and disciple to shoot an arrow that pierces the necromancer's skull.
Immediately you feel yourself weaken. It is as if you melt and evaporate at the same time. Oblivion looms as you fall from the night sky unto the brave archer. All goes dark.
When you open your eyes again, you know something is very different. A human woman stands over you and utters soothing words as she dresses your ... arm? Panic sets in again as it dawns on you that you did not wake in your own Phoenix self, but in the body of the marksman. Yet, deep inside you, you can still feel the heat of your blazing, otherworldly soul.
The girl shrieks loudly when your eyes turn red like magma and your arm erupts in flame...’
