Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Stuck in my new fortress?

I just got my fortress/tower thingy and I've navigated to the different areas (shop, trainer, etc) and done what I could there, and now I want to leave the tower - but when I select that option in the navigation bar (where you go to move from point to point in the tower), it says "unable to leave at this time" or words to that effect.

How do I get out?!

Have you tried using the warp shirine in the dining area? Its near your storage chest, where Sasson hangs out..

If your tower is under attack you won't be able to leave it normally until you've fended off the attackers.

Otherwise, try using the waypoint shrine in your master's quarters; it'll take you to any waypoint shrine you've previously been to.

Last time I went through my Leave Tower defaulted to the Battle Tower Shrine just outside. After that it'll change to wherever you happen to be when you use it to return to the tower.

The leave tower option is a way to teleport back to where you last used a teleport to tower option. Since you have not used it outside of your tower, there is nowhere for it to take you. So yeah you will have to use the warp shrine to go to the fjords. From then on it will always take you back to the last place you used it.
