hey guys just wondering I had a great character in Ego Draconis but it says all my save are outdated in DKS. I had ED before DKS and all FoV characters I make generally are rich but sucky. Is there anyway to get my saves redated (fake word, lol) to be able to use them in DKS. PS. I have the Steam version of DKS but disc version of ED. I think I'm screwed.

I read somewhere that too much had changed between ED and the remastered ED (in DKS) for Larian to make save games compatible.

yeah its says they are outdated but i was thinking if i could move the game's files i might be able to move the saves there or maybe even use texmod to port them but idk if that will even work

I think the problem is the changes and tweaks they made to the game (quests, NPCs, items etc), so the remastered game can't understand the saved state. It should be possible to to build some kind of translator, but I guess it was too much effort.

To keep your savegames, you should have bought FOV (expansion only). It doesn't have as much upgrates, but the saves are compatibles.

Ok guys thanks I will most likely restart after FoV finishes tho.
