<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />Im in the catacombs after you leave stormfist castle with one minor magic ,one magic, and one super magic. im level 11 and the skeletons turn my wizard into a charred pile of magic ashes. is there any way in gods green earth that i can possibly muster up the courage, wisdom, and balls to make it out with all my appendages intact. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />

yes, just keep the balls within, uh, sorry. I would suggest running as fast as u possibly can through it, paussing everyonce in a while to restor ur health with restoration. Do u have a spider statuete? I used that to zoom through, Then I went through as a higher level and retreated them frot ehre kindness. yeah, just keep running.

Run. The exit is to the west on the first level. There are health and mana potions throughout the dungeon, with one of each before you get to any hostile monsters. You can go back later, when you get up another dozen levels or so.

There's a secret exit if that helps. Find three pyramids around a Portal Stone. Activate all three and pass through the Portal Stone and you will appear in a secret room near the exit. Watch out for the hoards that come out of the portal when you activate the pyramids. Raze's map should be able to show you where the pyramids are. You can come back later and kill everything when you are better prepared.

with the entrance to the lower catacombs if u get the word wfrong do u get another chance at getting it right?

What word? As I recall, you only need to read the book, and you get the option to open the lower catacombs or not. You can refuse, return later and read the book again to open the stairs (or open them, but not explore until later).
