I created this same topic at gamefaqs,i got no replies except for one-A member by the name of VirtuaRacing pointed me to this Forum.
So here i am,and i need help...in the game of course:

I have started the game a few hours ago and i am now doing the side quests at broken valley.
When i first talked to Richard,he was near the chapel,he asked me if i wanted to make some quick gold by killing goblins and bringing their hearts. There were two dialogue choices, and i answered that i didn't wanted to.
After that,he said something like "See you in the hunt" and left running.

I have tried to find him,but i don't see him anywhere, not in the town, nor the woods.
Is this a glitch or does it mean i will never be able to do his side quests because i said no on his "business proposal"?

Thanks in advance.

Note:I am playing this game on the Microsoft Xbox 360 console.
Note 2:Thank God,i decided to purchase Divinity 2:Ego Draconis just now-this is how i came to purchase Divinity 2:DKS instead wink

Welcome to the forum! smile

Richard left indeed to hunt the goblins himself. He won't be found in the first part of the wood, but if you explore the next area's a bit, you'll be sure to meet him again.

Thank you very much for your help.
Just a little question though:if i move into the next area, will it prevent me from doing any further sidequests at broken valley?
Thank you once again for your time.

I think -Elena- meant he would still be in Broken Valley in the area past where The Dragon Slayers are guarding until you finish the Ritual Quest. Since I have not ever chosen that option you did, I don't know exactly where to find him.

Yes, I indeed meant that he is still in Broken Valley. You must finish the ritual before you can continue towards the next area (in Broken Valley)

If you want to know the exact location:

You can find him in the goblin camp. If you turn left after you met Talana, en continue upwards, the cutscene will begin and you can make a choice again

Greetings ari01. VirtuaRacing here. welcome

Glad to see your getting sorted. As I said I always have sold to Richard. Amazing how much is hiding away in this game no matter how many times you play it. grin

Edit: Just to answer something else without any spoilers.

The game opens up more and more and more even to the point of being moved away to a far away land, but you will always be able to go back to where you have been via the shrines for a very long while yet.

There will be a time when things will change, but one of the NCP's will give you a good warning when this is going to happen with the option to go forwards or backwards until you are ready. Up until that point don't worry to much as your be well into the game by then.

Thank you again for your help you both.
Im with over 30 hours of game so far and...i still cannot believe how astonishing the quality of this game is.

Over the years i became more of a colectionist and less of a player(i am a very impulsive consumer,i buy anything "shimy"),though i had heard good things about this game,i just thought it would be another game for my collection.I was wrong!

Im completely "addicted" to it,i havent been so enthusiastic about a game since The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion.

Thank you all for making this game.

P.S:Hope this game gets to be a commercial success.
