I think what highlights the most enjoyable part of this game for me is the Bellegar encounters that I very much look forward to. I was wandering if anyone ever took the time to write down what he says in each encounter. They are very well written and spoken for that matter. I searched the forum and did not find any reference to him. If you have knowledge of it please post a link here. Thank you.

BELLEGAR... BELLEGAR... BELLEGAR...

yeap I find Bellegar character a great addition to the game... Very nicely done!!!

I've decided to make one more run just to record Bellegar's rhymes. I just now made it to the Sentinel Island and here's what I have (so far) in chronological order:

1st shrine encounter:
These shrines are Bellegar's: finest magician beneath the stars!
If the other shrines you want to see, then slay here now these goblins three!

2nd shrine encounter:
Soon I shall hang here the lamenting bell!
No one, Slayer, beats a demon out of hell!

3rd shrine encounter:
The Demon hadn't a prayer of defeating a sturdy Slayer!
No spawn of Hades could invoke your dread,
But how will you fare against the undead?

4th shrine encounter:
Treasure is nigh, you are so close to your goal!
Too bad I chose to feed you to a troll!

Finally back at Talana's shrine:
You killed my minions one by one.
"So now for the riches," you think and then we're done.
But there's no reward in my wizard's den,
Instead you can fight them all again!

After the battle:
You bore me with your constant winning. Bellegar has had enough!
So please go away, and I'll give you some of this useless yellow stuff!

After Sosostra's 3rd prediction:
You want to fly free as a bird: Bellegar can understand!
Enjoy the flight and don't worry about how to land!

Morals Cave:
Bellegar bids thee welcome, Dragon, to his stage of moral choices!
Listen and decide after hearing opposite voices!
Know that those you are about to meet are real, though they are not in these fjords.
Go where your nature leads you, and it will lead you to just rewards!

E-E-E:
Your heart must be as dark as the Damned One's most sinister schemes,
The reward is one of these weapons that will cause unheard of dreadful screams!

E-E-G:
Lukewarm is your blood, though you tilt more to the darker side.
So take now your reward, great and fickle as your moral divide.

Sealed treasure:
Enclosed you find one forth of a seal, part of a pathway to treasures unreal.
Find the tomb in Orobas Fjords, where buried lies a warlord's hoards.
Three others will wait to unite the key. Do all this and rich you will be.

The moment of truth:
Brave souls have come hither to a tomb most bizarre.
Now you're all in a dither, courtesy of Bellegar.
Here is no treasure, no riches, no wealth.
But despair not my friends: you still have your health!

Mark me Dragon, you'll leave Behrlihn for dead! Oppose me now and I will have your head!
Your quest I shall bar and your carcass I'll mar! Know thy worst enemy: 'tis I Bellegar!

Next time you hear my lion-like roar, in freezing crystal I shall bind thee once more!

Bellegar's 2nd warning:
You wriggle and thrash like a fish on the hook as I pluck thee from Aleroth like a trout from a brook!
Never before a Dragon I took! Your soul I shall banish, your body I'll cook!

Fie! The serpent slithers away! The time shall yet come that thee I shall slay!
Wherever thou runneth, be it near or afar, I will find thee still, I Bellegar!

Bellegar's 3rd warning:
Tell me then why it is you persist to let loose the poison from the cancerous cyst?
You seek to release the slumbering scourge and therefore it is you that I must purge!

Be damned, thou Dragon, by all seven Gods! How long shall you keep on flouting the odds?
But once afore I have stopped armageddon and I'll do so again as the world I shall redden
With the cold flowing pus that is thy blood. May all to thee loyal drown in that flood!

Bellegar's 4th warning:
All you have seen, the strife and the war, and still you follow Zandalor!
He's mad don't you see, the gibbering fool, if he risks in Rivellon mad Behrlihng's rule!

Nothing for it, I say, but to try and try until you may finally wither and die!

Bellegar's 5th warning:
Thou shall be remembered as the darkest of devils, thy feast the most macabre of revels!
Resolved I am to stop thee yet, so to the gluttonous worm may be fed the Dragon, nay Demon,
That seeks to destroy the one plane wherein Bellegar finds some joy!

Cursed be the mother that bred thee! The wench must have been a hell-spawned banshee!
The impending death of which she wailed, arrived when you in ignorance failed to see the coming doom!
From her womb the darkness did bloom, the misguided spectre that will lead all to their tomb!

The House of Secrets:
You venture in a playground of hidden treasure, so take your time and explore at leisure!
Tread wisely the paths of this little maze, and for long its riches you will praise!

Inside the Antediluvian Vault:
One made it here before, by Bellegar unchecked!
But once I did detect in this Champions' abode feisty Slayer Rhode,
In cold stone I did cement her beauty, warmth and scent!

But you, Zandalor's fool and Behrlihn's pawn, you have seen your last dawn,
For finally we shall meet steel to steel, unleash magic unreal
And forever seal the fate of the pest that you are! You dear Dragon, made it far.
Time to face the tempest: front blizzard BELLEGAR!

All through the fight:
Ah! Curse your wasp-like bite!
I'll have a rash before this night!

Gah! Your skills are non too shabby!
You annoy wile beast! You're galling, crabby!

Ha! How I pity them that Behrlihn abet!
To be dead and not to realize it yet!

Your flesh will be burned, your very memory destroyed!
First comes agony, then comes the void!

Aaah! Damn daft critter! Willing Chaos slave!
Stand still and I'll teach you how to behave!

Give me a fight you weak-willed mule!
I've seen tougher battle 'gainst puddle of drool!

He finally gives up:
Ah, the blood of Ouroboros protects you from defeat!
You leave me no other option than to stage an ignominious retreat!
To me, infernal ghouls, and see to the serpent's death
While I take the time to catch my breath!

Bellegar's last stand:
Halt Dragon, and listen to my plight:
I have not come this time to fight,
But one last time to let you see the light!

Leave Behrlihn in his chains! How can I get it in thy brains
That his freedom means annihilation for every tribe, city and nation
That in Rivellon abound, my home, my favourite playing ground!

And it can without the aid of what lurks decayed further down this curse-filled underpass
Where horrors dwell en masse!

How can you be so naive to believe this creature will not deceive
Your gullible soul?
Liberty Lucien will not receive, your goal you will not achieve
And Rivellon shall be annihilated whole!

Hush! He'll hear your talk of treason! Is your very life not good enough a reason
the mad man to ignore? If not, I'll give you just one more!

Turn back now, leave death to die and your good self I will supply
With the power to destroy this Black Ring threat,
Power all but as the debt Behrlihn promised thee to set him free!

There's more. I think there's a few notes you can pick up. The sleeping travelers when woken up and encountered in Broken Valley's village quote Bellegar and I think another of Bellegar's quotes is in Brave Sir Robin's hunting record.

Also, the crashed ship that's lodged in between some ruins (only reachable in dragon form) on Sential Island contains a note about a shipment to Broken Valley...Bellegar is mentioned here and I think he lives in a Dark Tower, so it says anyway.

bellagar had yet to play his role in this game.... we will her from him again in Divinity III.

He played a major role in FoV.
