Hey guys, my first post here.

Right off the bat, I wanted this game to be good, I SO wanted to give this game a chance...

I bought the original version a while ago and played intensely, it was a pretty decent game! Having played DA and ES4O, I really didn't expect much from this game, but it exceeded my expectations in many ways.

Very recently, I bought the so called, "remake", DKS. I found out that its a "complete" remake of the original, so I gave my DVD away to my cousin living in Jersey while on a visit, I don't get to see him very often. Now, I just installed DKS, and found out that I cannot load my old saved games...WTH? I spent about at least 30 hours on that character, and it gives me that outdated saved game crap...ok...

It more interesting part is, I can't get ANY trainers to work! All I want is my character back and Ive searched my ASS off, tried about 4 different trainers, but none of them work. Im not completely blind when it comes to computing, some trainers make a noise when its turned on, yes thats nice but the effect is not there, I don't get the EXP boost or the 50k I lost...Why won't the trainers work?

And the lack of any kind of any savegame editor/console is disturbing for an RPG. I remember reading somewhere about some guy claiming this game was easy and didnt need any item/game editor, though tons can be found online. Well kiss my ass there are absolutely NO savegame editor.

So, to sum it up, Im not in a very good mood right now haha, if anyone can figure out a way out of my mess without starting ALL OVER, please. Or any idea how to get the trainers to work. Some have check versions, Already did those mine passes. I don't care if I have to re-find every friggin waypoint or redo EVERY quest, please tell me my 30hours are not wasted.

Why release a remake if you can't import saved game, don't tell me its THAT different that you can't friggin import a few hexes of stats and attributes and items. Give me my character back, PLEASE.

Its not a bad game, I enjoy vaulting 30-feet into the air when I try to jump, realy.
Hope you guys had a better experience than me with this game, I suddently have the urge to throw the DVD as far away from me as possible.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble mate, but lack of savegame compatibility between different versions and editions of games is hardly something new or unusual in gaming. Weather it's a good thing or not is entirely a subject for another discussion. As for trainers and savegame editors these kind of programs are always written by fans and take some time to appear after a game or even a new version of a game is out. You can't seriously expect a trainer made for plain Ego Draconis to work on Dragonknight Saga.

No, Ive tried Dragon Knight Saga trainers, they don't work.

I know Im being a hardass and complaining alot here, but all I want is to recover from this at least with a shadow of my former character...I would really hate to lose 30 hours of gameplay for no reason.

There are a couple on gamershell and cheatcc, all for dragon knight saga, dont work!
The aiming with the bow is nice, wish it was there in the original.

From what I know, there is trainer available for the DKS version, even widely available for the 1.4.9.32 version. As for the latest patch 1.4.9.65, there is trainer for it from cheat happens, where if I not mistaken, you need to pay for subscription.

As for utilizing your old save from the original ED, too bad there still no way to do that in the DKS. The original ED saves only reusable in the stand alone FOV only, but not in the DKS version.
