Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Technical problems Errors after patch + Main Quest error

Okay, so first things first.
I applied the DKS patch earlier today, and my game now loads on the screen sideways. Yes, it is turned 90 degrees to the left. When the menu loads, it is extremely large and the rest of the game loads at that size as well (still sideways). Disabling the 'use desktop resolution' option allows the game to run at the regular angle, but it is stretched out and cut off at the sides (only within an 800x600 box, regardless of the resolution, and stretched). Essentially, it's pretty unplayable like this. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get screenshots as they turn up black. And sideways. (Using the CTRL+ALT+Arrow Key method doesn't work).

The other error I've had (even before the patch was released) was that whenever I approach the bridge to fight Amdusias, the game crashes right after I pass the doors. Here's a screenshot of the error messages I receive;

I noticed the 'ffdshow.ax' thing, but adding Divinity II.exe to the 'Don't run ffdshow in' list doesn't seem to work.

That's about it. I've looked around for solutions for quite a while, and no results turned up.

Could you run the support tool please ( http://www.larian.com/dragonknightsaga_support.php ) and send us your report. Also, please include your savegame just before Amdusias.
