Okay, so I mentioned this problem in my first thread, but since one of the two issues has been resolved, this thread is purely for the more evasive issue.
First things first:
- I have Divinity II - Dragon Knight Saga
- Issues occurred after patching
- 'Use Desktop Resolution in Interface' option is unchecked. If it's checked and in full screen, my display turns 90 degrees to the left and is still cut off at the edges.
- Also, running Windows XP.

I could only get screenshots from forcing window mode on Divinity II, but this is the stretched-screen issue I've been having since the patch (not exactly the same as the others already posted).

It might be a bit harder to tell from the back of my character, but even in-game is still stretched. The inventory/skill/journal/etc. menus are all cut off at the sides too. It's like this in full screen as well, in different resolutions. Anyone know of any possible fixes/solutions?

Oh no, I mentioned a previous thread I had posted, where I had two issues; this one, and one involving the game crashing at a certain point. They were separate issues, and only the crashes had been resolved.

Thanks for the link, but I don't have an nVidia card, so it doesn't exactly address my problem D:

Oh! Using ATI then?

Have you tried looking for a scaling option in catalyst?

Believe it or not, I'm not using ATI either... I'm actually running a Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (according to DxDiag). It's funny that all these games people say won't run on Intel chipsets (Divinity II, Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas, Dragon Age) all run on this card.

Intel has a control-panel type thing as well, but the given display options are likely not comparable to nVidia's or ATI's...

That's a pretty messed up screen you have there smile

The upcoming patch should solve your problem, in the meantime keep the desktop resolution option off. Try to set the game's resolution to your desktop resolution and make sure that those are the native resolution.

Resolution.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Yes, indeed!
Okay! I've been keeping it off to prevent the screen turning 90 degrees, but I haven't played since the problem occurred, since using my desktop's resolution still stretches it beyond the edges... thanks for the response though, and I suppose I'll just wait until the patch comes out (:
