I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

I looked all of the city but can't seem to find the enterance to the academy.

It is through the ancient ruins or forgotten ruins, cant remember the exact name. For that you need to be able to pass through the big tree once he has allowed you to, in that area of the city which is filled with walking dead, etc . youll find the entrance to those ruins.

You will get there eventually because it is part of the main quest.

when you go down one of those round sewer entrances, it'll be behind some encounters with an obnoxious-short-troll, and behind the subsequent boss-fight with guy the short-troll(with fire traps) is saying is his master.

The round sewer entrance is probably the closest one to the teleport in the crows nest area (within an arrow's shot or two if there were no obstacles).

If you need more exact dirs, I'd have to go back to the area...

dafema, I don't remember any quests telling me to check there. As far as I remember the main quest informs you about the Champions Academy but not to proceed to the forgotten ruins to get there.
