I would very much like to play this game and even Beyond Divinity. I have not seen them retail anywhere near where I live though. Does anyone know of a retail store that stocks these?

Maybe you can buy them via Good Old Games ? (steam-version, so you can play without a disc )
On 7th of february 2015 : I start a new adventure in the Divinity world of Original Sin, it's a Fantastic Freaking Fabulous Funny ... it's my All Time Favorite One !
