I'm on my third playthru and was wondering about the workshop. I do the quests to upgrade the shop but what am I upgrading? Sasson asks what machine(armor or weapons) to upgrade but what actually happens. I don't see any difference between using either of the machines to enchant a weapon or armor or if I use my smith. They all seem to do exactly the same thing. Thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!
The upgrade reduces the amount of requires materials to enchant. AFAIR, it does not stock with the smith' bonus tho, it's a bug I guess. may be it was fixed in DKS, I'm not sure.
