(I did a quick search and couldn't find anything about this on the forum.)

The side quest 'Down the Hatch' locks up every time I attempt to give Jedediah The Chalice of the Dragon and some Drudanae. There is a cut sequence where he works the magic and the camera pans out to a wide view then when this sequence ends it locks and I have to turn the Xbox off and back on. I've tried many times and the result is always they same - CRASH!

Is this a known bug? Will there be a fix coming out soon?

They are not all listed but it is believed 1 or 2 cut scene's maybe linked to a time related bug that is in the process of being released as soon as Microsoft test it.

In short it has been found that if you take around 70 hours which includes pause time then such a bug may show up. Many people have played the game much quicker then my self and have been ok so for them it is not broken.

Here is the full topic, look for posts with Larian Studios to get some answers for now.

Post found under Technical problems: XBOX 360: Sassan can't summon demon.

This should point you in the right direction until guys from Larian Studios can get a look. If you can't wait for the patch then you could start again, be a little quicker, save and exit game if you are away from your screen for a long while ect... Maybe you have an early save you can fall back too that will allow you to be quicker?

regards.

Actualy although the Sassan bug is time related it is only the time it takes to do that quest to completion, and you cannot leave to do anything else. You can't go back to broken valley, or leave Sassan to go do other quests on Sentinel island, It has to be the last quest you do on the island before killing Laiken. I have found two more such crash instances on Stones fortress, and am currently replaying that without leaving the fortress, as the game crashes in Stones passage, and also if you try to destroy the generator which produces the armour warrior things after you fight Stone the first time. I hope it works for these as well as it did for the Sassan bug.

The thing is you need the name of the demon before you can enter the room and only until you get back to Sassan can you enter it with the Enter or Not which would equal either if A = B then goto Enter or if A = A then continue so where does the time related bug come from that?? The guys said something is looping or counting down/up through the game and it can upset other cut scene's... once this timer messes up so it's not directly related to Sassan it's self.
