hi

I just bought your games divinity 2 dragon saga on steam. But it crashes at launch

After the screens Larian and SpeedTree, a black screen appears with a golden medallion in the shape of a dragon on the bottom left.
it turns on itself three times and then the game crashes
a message appears:

visual c++ runtime library:
runtime error!
program d:\steam\steamapp...
R6025
-pure virtual function call

then it's back on the desktop of Windows

I uninstall Visual C + + then I reinstall it with the files in
D: \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Divinity II - dragon knight saga \ support \ vcredist
VS80sp1-redist_x86-4053.exe
VS90sp1-redist_x86-9.0.30729.17.exe

then i updated Windows and it install a patch for Visual C + + 2008 atl update kb 973924 - x86 9.0.30729.41.48
I've restart Windows and tested divinity 2 : it is the same: crash

My screen resolution is 1440 by 900 in large icon and large font.
In your FAQ it 's indicated that this can cause problems.
I put the font and icon to normal size and i have tested with a screen resolution of 1024 by 768 for the same result = crash

i use win xpsp3 and kaspersky
i try to launch the game without kaspersky on and the result is the same = crash
i ve got a graphic card nvidia 8800 gts with 260.99 drivers

please help

Ps: i bought alpha protocol. I install it, It use visual c++ too. i lauch it without any problem

That's a tricky one, can you run our support tool and send the report to support? Thanks.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
