Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General can't find alchemist house

in what part of the dark forest is the alchemist? i've taken the elven ruins teleporter & warrior's guild teleporter. been attacked by saphiro in the mountain trolls area and have the house of boratus marked on my map. but i can't find the alchemist.

The alchemist is west and a little bit south of the warrior's guild teleporter, south east of the old hermit's house.

there is a brown trail going to it.
