Big fight getting rid of Jake then whoosh straight into another Arena type battle with Bellegar's mob.
What is the timer objective I have run down the clock and get encased in crystal game over. What is the trick?

You have to beat all the monsters summoned by Bellegar before the end of the timer. My advice : begin with ranged attackers, then gather the others on a single location and have fun. It's not very difficult, I think. But of course it depends on your specialization.

Thanks for that I was trying to survive until the timer went down.

Personally, I overused the stone to "go home" to get enough potion to survive the battle ^^ it's long but that pay.

WOW!!!! I had no idea there was a time limit on this!! I have urthrig's armor on at the moment, and I found a sword that is better than the sword that dude gave me { his name slips my mind at the moment}. after dying once....and having to kill Jake again....I got sort of ticked off! my second time in there was the charm. I have a vast array of potions, all high end stuff.....just kept chugging potions and casting spells. the key is to use whirlwind a lot to keep those other idiots off you, so you can do what you need to do.
