Hiya, Please help I'm going mad!!!!

I have all the pieces needed (blood, book, dragon scale)

BUT

The dragon is flying in circles up high and cannot be targeted and it will not attack me!

After the first time when I mind read to get the password it attacked me, I then ran off to get the book and when I come back he is just circling above and will not interact!!!

I have reloaded and even used an earlier version and got to this point again, I have tried all sorts of combinations of the original dialogue responses etc, but the same thing everytime.

Can anyone help? grovel grovel grovel, I have played it about 10 months ago with the same disk and it was fine then!!!!! (Xbox)

I just finished this great game 1 minute ago!! I loved it!!

No bug at all.........

I do believe you need to mele attack before Amdusias takes Dragon form. I did that and was able ro Mele attack and deafeat Amdusias.

Reading the book from your inventory will cast the spell required to turn Amdusias human again, so (after a conversation) you can fight/defeat him. You can read the book wherever you wish; volume 1 contains the spell Amdusias used (though you don't need to read it), while the second volume, from the librarian, contains the counter-spell.

When I cast the spell and do the conversation, after the conversation it says that you need to be targeting a subject, and I can't target the dragon??????

You need some scales from Amdusias, and a vial of his blood too to cast the spell.

Yep as stated in originl post I have all 3 items but when I go to cast the spel it says I have to target the subject and won't cast as I can't target it.

1: Use the book titled "Dragon Lore" in Amdusias' room
-From the Crypt Shrine, travel down the south hallway, then climb the stairs
to the second floor and look for the book in the northwestern room.

2: Take the Phial of Blood from behind the false wall you just opened.
3: Complete the quest 'A Tale of Two Tomes'
4: Once you have both the Phial and the book, travel down the west hallway and
make a mad dash towards the Blood Altar. You will find the scales you need
just in front of it. Pick them up, then immediately access your inventory and
use the Orbis Arcesso (under the quest items tab).

5: Defeat Amdusias.
-His explosive arrow makes him very difficult to defeat at a range. You can
try engaging him in melee to force him to draw his sword, but it doesn't
always work. If he does draw it, you can safely back away from him without
having to deal with his lethal bow shots

AAHHHH got it!

You have to hand the Librarian quest in first before casting the spell!
