So, i finally found a copy of Divinity 2 - The Dragon Knight Saga.

I'm currently installing it, but it's not really going that great..

I'm on my 3rd attempt, and every single time i get the same issue: Textures.dv2, Textures2.dv2, Trees.dv2, DialogData.dv2 etc etc cannot be found and i get the options to Abort, retry and Ignore.

First, i tried Retry, but that just takes forever, and results in the same message.
Next, i tried abort and did the install again, but to no avail.
Now, i am trying to ignore all of the messages and once install is done, i'll try to manually copy all the "missing" files to the Div2 folder.

I sure hope i didn't pay €35,- for a busted game.. that would suck.

I'm afraid it sounds as if your DVD is not being read correctly - it's probably scratched or something, so you're best off returning it to the shop and asking for a replacement.

Yeah, it's either the disk or the DVD player. I'm currently testing the disk on my GF's PC. She has the same config as me, except for the DVD player (which comes in handy sometimes :P )

FreeRecordShop better recognize if they sold me a busted DVD. >_<
If so, i have to admit, the DVD was packaged a little shady.. it was in a "broken" anti-theft case with plastic wrapping around the game case, and normally, they keep all disks behind the counter and place empty/fake cases in the racks to prevent theft.

Soo, it was my DVD player acting up apparently.

It worked fine for my GF, so i reconnected my "old" Blu-Ray player i Deep-Sixed a few months back for acting like a teet during installs, and apparently, it learned it's lesson.

It's installed no-probs now, so.. let's hope it plays no-prob as well =D

Ok, so, during the last installation i did before i replaced my DVD player, one of the error messages changes from "cannot find file" to the "Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC)" which, in most cases, points to DVD-Player problems.

I just wanted to add this for anyone else that might encounter this problem and is not sure how to fix it.

The file that messed up every time was Texture.dv2 (this is for any google searches being done =) )
