I was on a site a while ago and saw that Larian was looking for finishing stats for this game. I can't find the site since I lost most of my bookmarks when I got my new Mac so I thought I might post it here and keep my fingers crossed that the right person finds it. Hope it does some good. BTW I play an Xbox 360 and put in 40-50 hours a week on it during the winter when I'm not digging in dirt outside in better weather. - no joke, I need a life - but as someone put it so well on a recent forum - "why? I have thousands of them - I"m a gamer!"
As a preface to my game-end stats let me say that I am an old hand at gaming and have been there since "Pong". So we have established that I am an old fart who Jones' for a good RPG. I enjoy, (masochist that I am), playing utill I have pushed the game to it's limits and squezed out every buff, exp and stat that I possibly can. Obviously this is time consuming and only fun if the game is GOOD; and I found Divinity 2 to be exceptional. I have gone through at least a dozen times, played for 4 months straight, and have discovered the following:
1. In spite of then fact that many people poo poo the Wisdom skill; I have found it to be of immense value. By the time the game was done I gained enough levels with this skill that I found it unnecessary to trudge through the respawning glitches to level up. If you abuse the "save/reload" trick you can obtain jewelry from Needleman and Locke that have mind read and wisdom buffs. Buy all of these that you can each time that you visit them when you level up and keep them in your inventory until the end. Switch between as needed and gain/save exp for both. What seems like a piddly amount of extra and saved exp actually adds up to quite a lot over the course of the game. You can also put the skill points you would have spent on mind read and wisdom to good use elsewhere.
2. Abusing the "save/reload" glitch can be very time consuming but us old farts are patient and greedy. I got some truly great gear from this (even legendary) early on in the game and the buffs and charm slots boost your stats to a very comfortable level which makes bashing Goblins a breeze. This is especially true in the early part of the game which is more difficult.
3. I play on the easy setting - Hey! I told you I was old - the blood pressure is a concern

With my hard-won jewelry, belt, and Ulthring's armor (all buffed with blessed and divine damage charms and level 10 healing aura) I went through enemies in the battle at the end like a hot knife through butter.
4. No one mentions it but you can also use a re-spawning trick in Stones fortress with Stone. Just keep running away from him and he keeps pumping out armors and skeletons at about 200 exp a pop (if you have maxed your wisdom at that level).
5. I used no level 10 enchants other than Healing Aura - didn't see much difference between +24 and + 27 on the stats for damage etc. so I had Malachite Gems left unused at the end.
6. I encountered a few visual glitches where the screen would turn black and you couldn't see anything; but you could use the map to locate the exit and the chests show up with the "use" dialog, so no big deal. The game did freeze a few times but as long as you are a proponent of constant saving (as I am) this was not a significant problem.
I have a few suggestions:
- When you examine the contents of a chest, make it possible to compare the item of interest with your own equipment using the "Y" button otherwise you have to add it to your inventory and compare there - wastes time.
- Keep the soldier's voice in the next game - it's delicious (obviously I'm female)
- Allow us to resurrect our character for the next installment - we get fond of our "alter-ego" heroes and would like to see them again.
OK here are the stats: I was a dual wielding melee fighter that never fired an arrow and used magic missile sparingly in the beginning game and never after level 8 or so. Needless to say I like bashing. My weapons were the DLC Wilds Dweller Axe and the Blood Eschelon single hand sword. I found them the best in the game without exception. I used various sets of DLD armor throughout for the bonus to strength, dexterity, etc and eventually changed to random gear I found with multiple buffs and charm/enchantment slots. These were procured by "mining" the chests and rewards from quests by the save/reload trick. You can get some truly awesome stuff doing this!
I concentrated on maxing Wisdom, Life Leach, Mind Read, Bleed, Death Blow, Regeneration, and Dual Wield as they came available. Before end game I reassigned skill as shown below:

With what I have listed I rarely had to heal or take a potion and could literally walk around like a vengefull God. It was glorious! Congratulations on a superb game. It is most likely the best I have ever played and I look forward to upcoming titles under the Divinity line. (Sorry, my "gamer" language leaves something to be desired). I will play on a harder level and post if I find any significant changes in my comments and/or observations. Loved it!!!!!
I hope this gets to whomever needed the stats for their game development. Thank you for such a great gaming experience.
