Reached the Hall of Echoes, am at level 34 but have no chance of taking out the four nests unless it is just a matter of trying, getting killed and re-loading and trying again. Game isn't fun if that is all there is to completing the game. Is there a special way to attack the nests in Hall of Echoes?

There is no special way to take out the nests, though if you have a save before entering and left some things undone, another level wouldn't hurt (34 should still be fine, though). Are you already playing on easy? If not, try lowering the difficulty, at least temporarily. Try flying around for a bit, and take out the memory eaters with Fire Sphere. When they are thinned out a bit you should have an easier time. See below: Another..Hall of Echoes question

I had a serious amount of difficulty there until I realised I needed to dodge the white discs. I'd expected this to be very difficult in itself since I'm not much good at things like dodging and other quick-reaction type games, but actually it wasn't too bad at all. So keep an eye out for them first and blast the memory-eaters and towers second.

I had a bit of difficulty there assuming I needed to dodge the white disks, but after re-entering to check something, I found at level 36 they couldn't hurt me anyway, so there was no need to move, let alone dodge. I did take damage the first time around when going after the nests, though, and had to retreat a couple times to heal.

Well, since I need 115,000 more exp pts to reach level 35, no way I can make 36. C an't thin out Memory Eaters as I have 15 to 20 each time and no way to dodge or get them all. Supposedly playing easy level. If this is an award winning RPG game, I would hate to see any others. Guess it's time to pull the disk and find something else except for anything from Larian Studios. Thanks for trying to help.

You don't need to dodge, just keep moving and you should rarely get hit. Staying high may help.
The memory eaters tend to stay near the nest area, so you can keep heading back to the waterfall, clear out any wandering around or that followed you, and head back towards the nests to target some more.
Shoot off a Fire Sphere every time the cooldown time is up and you will kill them faster than the nests can spit them out. You don't need to rush to get a target immediately after the cooldown time, but it should only take a couple seconds anyway if you are flying around the nests, or about 5 seconds if you are near the waterfall and have to go find one.

There is a barrier by the large statue, just past the last nest, which is dropped when you have destroyed the nests.

I am at Orobas Fjords in front of the entrance to the Hall Of Echoes. There are rocks blocking my path. I have all of the items needed to go through and no other outstanding quests to complete. I have no idea what I did wrong or how to get in. Please help!

Standing near the cave-like entrance, you need to read the 'Note From Maxos' in your quest item inventory in order to remove the glass/ice blocking the way.
Just to make sure you are at the right spot, the entrance is far below the talking tree that asked you some riddles, a little south of Keara's flying fortress entrance, east of the Red Hammer Tribe teleporter shrine. Look for the beach there with a few dragon skeletons further inland; the entrance is at the back.

There's a bug with an earlier version of the game that prevents you from approaching the door, which this sounds like. If this is the case, installing the latest patch should fix the problem.
Edit: actually it probably isn't since you can see rocks: if it's the bug, the barrier is invisible.

Well, I re-loaded an older save to try to up my level but still can't get past level 34 and there is no way I can survice the first area in Hall of Echoes. Tried some of the previous tips but when there are 10, 15 or 20 Memory Eaters, there is no way I can survive. Managed to take out one nest but can't get any further, no matter what I try. Very disappointing to get this far and realize you can't move forward. Fire Blast or Fire Sphere don't do any damage to Memory Eaters. Think I'll just toss the game and find something else.

Sounds like you hit a bug. Fire Sphere should pretty much be a one hit kill for Memory Eaters, which makes it relatively easy to fly around and clear them out faster than the nests can produce more.
Did you try returning to the battle tower, and then back to the Hall of Echoes? A couple people ran into particular opponents that were invulnerable (ie the goblin shaman near the start of the fjords by the Grand Knight teleporter shrine), but leaving the area and returning, or doing something else on the same map and coming back would usually fix the problem.
Try emailing support@larian.com, with a description of the problem, and maybe a link to this topic.

Tried going back to Battle Tower with very interesting results. When I appeared at the Battle Tower, I was still in my dragon form. When I went back to Hall of Echoes, I appeared in my human form which doesn't allow any action. Will try support as this was really weird.

You should automatically switch to human form in the battle tower, and then back to dragon returning to the Hall of Echoes. Someone else ran into a similar glitch some time ago, where they were ok going back to the battle tower, but didn't transform returning to the Hall of Echoes, so got stuck there as a human.
