HI all !

I went out and bought Divinity II:ED for my Cristmas gift from my lovely wife. It was then that I heard about Divine Divinity. I went online and found out about it and then decided I would give it a try and, well lets just say, I AM HOOKED! I can't believe it took me this long to find this game! I stopped playing Divinity II to play this one. To think I missed out on playing this game in it's prime. It makes me very sad. I just dont know why I havent heard about this game until now? They dont make them like this anymore. Looks like I will be spending alot of my free time catching up and truely enjoying one of the best RPGs ever !

Thanks LARIAN ! Keep up the good work !

Unfortunately DD didn't get a lot of publicity when it was released.

Hi Chupakabra-King,

first: have fun with Divine div !!! It's a masterpiece !!!
Second: you won't regret buying this game from anno 2002 !

I play anno 2004-2005 this beautiful game and today still playing DD !!
I think I spend at least more than 500 hours on this lovely RPG and
I'm waiting for the moment I begin to find DD "boring" after all the years of playing it ...
.. I'm waiting ...
.... still ...
waiting, but nothing happens ...

Thanks guys ! (for the welcome)

Yeah I have several NEW NEW games that I keep passing up to play DD ! LOL ! It's just so much FUN ! And talk about a challenge ? It's really difficult in the early stages. Gotta remember to save save save !

Not only the early stages, because some kind of enemy bosses are very dangerous (Archmage Lizard, Imp chieftain, Josephina(!), Rogue, Steel Guardian, Sand Devil, .. and even the endboss is not without any dangerous moments if you're unpatient or not carefully, even if you've at that moment already many boosts and more than 1500 Hitpoints (Vitality)!

Playing DD like "one kill no save/reload" is a thrilling dangerous experience to the final end !
My first time I got killed was in the catacombs beneath Aleroth! There're some very dangerous enemies! wink

Me too have several new games lying here, but I'm playing rather DD than begin those new games. eek
Only Divinity II : DKS can take my attention more than other games that are waiting for months now ... . :hihi:

I just found the game too. Someone in a Heroes of Might and Magic forum recommended it, so I went on and tried the demo. I'm impressed, now playing the full version.
The game looks extremely rich in content, great musical score, interface gives lots of info and the gameplay is open, by the looks of it. This'll keep me hooked for a while!

I'll need to browse this forum now, to see if I can find help with some gameplay basics...

And it's totally NO shame of making mistakes with your hero(ďn) ... next time you play you can do it in a different way ...
