Found a nice 40% fire curse scroll of 108 damage over 2 seconds. it sez per hit, does that only mean melee or does it also work on bows?

I think it may be melee only... In D2:ED I don't recall ever having a bow with 3 enchantment slots, and normal damage / magical damage were always my first and second choices for weapons.

If you visit your enchanter, does Fire Curse show up if you select a bow? If so, maybe save, try the enchantment on a weak bow (to give more shots per opponent) test it out and if there are no visible signs of Fire Curse being triggered, check your combat log.

108 per 2 seconds? I don't remember that from Draconis. Is this in DKS? I haven't played that yet.

Yes it is DKS but its still in the first part of the game, but didn't think it would mater if it was DKS or Ego, regarding a bow enchantment.

Think ill just save a game enchant it them see if i notice any difference in my attacks and see if they catch on fire.

Yeah i didn't waste that level 10 enchantment, but used a level 8 fire curse one and it does work on bows nicely. I should have just tested it in the first place before posting.
