Well I have to say Talana is quite the nag for a dead person. I've been waondering about Borken Valley doing some of the side quests and every now and then Talana makes a comment about the side quest I'd just finished and winges about Lovis's tower

Pitty the PC dosne't have a witty come back like "Oh keep your scales on, the game isn't going to progress until I've done Lovis's tower so what's the hurry?"

And yes I do know it's not really Talana I keep hearing (pretty hard not to pick up the basic plot of the game)

Also faced Rhode and the other Slayers near the Maxos Temple. Bit dissapointed she didn't stay and get her butt kicked along with the others. Do we see Rhode again? More to the point do we get to kill her?

Talana does have a couple amusing comments about getting to Lovis' tower (one in particular after using the Wishing Well).

You will see Rhode again a couple times, but don't get to kill her.

If Rhode had stayed in that fight, she would have kicked your behind in two seconds.

Rhode is supossed to be untlimate dragon slayer...

So yeah, we would not stand even one second agains her.

There is that I guess about Rhode. Still it's a bit cheesy that she leaves beofre the fight begins.

We were her pupils, maybe she don't have heart to see us dying when we weren't fully developed dragon knights yet.

and diinity 2 would be really short game with bad end if she would remained at temple

Heh true. As cheesy as it may be story and plot reasons trumps pretty much anything

And if you do Lovis Tower before the quests, she has many comments about Maxos Temple

and if you do the temple before the quest she comments about the dragon stone, and if you get the dragon stone before the quests she comments about the hall of echoes

She has comments for everthing does she ? A real step-mother.
