Hi!

I've been playing 'Divinity II - the Dragon Knight Saga' for awhile now, collecting among other things some body parts which I will supposedly be able to use to boost my 'Creature' when I get to summon it later on.

The loot list is getting rather large, forcing me to sell of stuff now and then. Suddenly I find that my small collection of body parts (one or two pairs of goblin arms and legs, if I remember it correctly) have vanished. I must have accidentally sold them off.

These body parts seem to be found rather rarely. Will I be able to 're-stock', or have I just permanently reduced the effectiveness of my creature? If so, I am tempted to start from the beginning, although I have spent the better part of 15 hours of gameplay already...

I know that enemies do not respawn. Is there only one "full set" of body parts in circulation, or should I keep killing enemies and hope for the best?

Sincerely, if rather frustratedly

Procrastes

P.S. I should add that I'm playing the Xbox 360 version of the game. This might limit the possibility of using cheat codes to re-stock my body parts larder.(?)

Whenever you talk to the necromancer (you may need to go into the creature creation screen), any new body parts in your inventory get added to his list (any remaining after that are duplicates, and can be sold). The same is true of alchemy potions and enchantment formula, with the alchemist and enchanter.

Even if you accidentally sold the parts, you will be able to find better by the time you finish the necromancer's quest and are able to summon one. Later in the game you will have access to a merchant that sells body parts, as well. Other than random loot, there are also a couple chests and quest rewards that give body parts.

I eventually ended up with multiple copies of 'Perfect' body parts, so don't worry, you'll keep finding more parts as you go through the game. They do seem to be mainly random loot, and as with all random loot you can save before opening a chest/completing a quest, and try again if you don't like what you got.

I suggest waiting until you are a high level to do the Troll quest in high hall. Loot levels as you do, and the key hanging over the lava pit in Mundus' cave is to a chest that always has a high level body part. Get the key, and save in front of the chest. open it, and if you don't get the part you like, reload and a different part will be there.

Thanks a lot, all of you! I can now go back to the Igor business with a light heart!
