We checked the integrity of your files, there is nothing wrong with them. Patch.dv2 is unique for every edition for the game (Retal/Steam/impulse/larians/etc) but, AFAIR, it does not contain anything related to your issue. Hmm... really weird.
If you want, we can compare all other files just in case. But so far, the only difference I noticed is Divinity2.exe and Patch.dv2 files.

Also - check PM.

Can you keep any progression/suggestions in thread and not PM please? I am having the exact same issues with a different build. Did all the integrity test, driver updates, etc. so the only thing in common among us is the Impulse deal. I have a ticket in with support as well. There are other things to do but eventually I'll have to take on the fortresses and running out of other distractions. frown Other than Raze's I can do them I just have to constantly angle weird to see where the ground is or shoot in to the light until no more mobs, but it greatly takes away from the fun of these zones. Thanks.

Got a response from Stardock saying to contact Focus Home.

They responded today. I sent them a save game.

In the meantime, I'll post a video, this time Raze's flying fortress, which shows how f'd up things are on that level.

But really, that's quite annoying issue you've got. Have you tried what i suggested you in PM? Tell me when you do.

I also picked up DKS from Impulse. I have run 2 seperate games & keep running into the same problems both Trillian & Crawdaddy79. Raze's FF is totally unplayable. I finished Storm, Kera? [Ice] & Raze's FF just by pure anger & got to the entry doors. Never able to fully run through Raze's.

Thus even should you manage to plow through the FF, you run into the second MAJOR game breaker; the Goblin encampment anti-dragon zones will not drop when you destroy all objects in the generator areas. So your game effectively ends at that point given you cannot pass to the Red Tribe, or the last 3 Zepplin parts you need to move onto to Aleroth.

You only need 1 of each type of zeppelin part to be able to get to Aleroth. That will give you access to a couple good traders, but before the Hall of Echoes there is not a lot to do in Aleroth, so you are still stuck at pretty much the same point.


Try emailing support@larian.com, with a description of the problem and maybe a link to this post (see the DKS support page).
Maybe another save will help them track down the problem, or they may at least be able to remove the barrier, or something.


In XP the saves are in the folder

C:\Documents and Settings\ %username% \Local Settings\Application Data\Divinity 2\Savegames


or in Vista / Win 7

C:\Users\ %username% \AppData\Local\Divinity 2\Savegames


You may need to set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders (XP, Vista, Win 7).

Verified patch fixes this issue, as well as the two others in my rant post. smile Thanks Larian!
